Get out & see what’s on.
This month has been very busy.
I ventured home to Tauranga to see whanau, but also I wanted the get down to see 2 great exhibitions. David Henderson a fellow Printmaker is having a solo show at the Tauranga Historic village. Pressed by the Sea is a great display of the Man’s talent and passion for the ocean and Mount Surf culture. It’s on for 1 more week until the 18th October. Also, next door in the Imprint gallery I have a piece of work in the touring A4 Small Print exhibition put on by the Print Council. This is a great way to purchase a really affordable sized work from some of the best New Zealand printmakers.
This last month I haven’t been producing much of my own work. Instead I have been working hard to complete a huge Mural project for the students at my School. The Mural we completed today is 10.5m long by 2.4m tall with many 3D panels added to ‘break the 3rd wall’ I can’t post a picture until after the unveiling tomorrow but I will. Watch this space.
Stay dry out there, and hopefully I can get out and find me some Kaimoana!
